Wish I'd bough it years ago!
I bought this because I saw someone using it online. I'm cheap, so I put off getting it for a while. I wish I hadn't! It has come in handy in situations I'd not considered before. Just the right size to clamp and hold work pieces that I'm gluing, soldering, or just fitting together. What a great product!

Great product, Just what I was looking for. The base is heavy enough I do not have to worry about it tipping or moving. The adjustable arms make soldering small wire together much easier. If you are using small gauge insulated wires, the clips even with the silicon covers installed will crush the insulating cover. I use a longer piece of heat shrink to cover this so no big problem. The eight inch arms are just the right size for what I do. Two of the twelve inch arms would have been much more useful than one twelve inch and one sixteen inch.

Top notch tool
Great materials. The base is very thick metal powdered coated (I believe). The hands are solidly built as well. The magnets are fierce. I don't see any short comings that would require a fix or replacement for years of use to come.

Multi surface hands
Construction is great and the claws feel durable so I don't imagine they'll break anytime soon. I'm glad that I went with the original brand rather than some knock off.
The magnets in the arms are very strong which is great. Additionally, I found that they stick well to my metal work bench which has been great for holding on to an assortment of longer and larger that wouldn't have fit on the original base plate. :)

Solid, very high quality manufacture
The base is heavy, so it won't fall over or be easily moved by a bump. The magnets are very strong, so the arms won't fall over. Things stay where you put them. Just what the doctor ordered!

I had two lesser helping hand tools but after trying out the Quadhands I gave them both to Goodwill. This is so much better.

Way better than the old fashioned hands
The quad hands is a very sturdy piece of equipment. You won’t knock it over or on the floor. The hands are flexible and can grip strongly to base with the magnet. The alligator clips are good with the silicone to protect the electronics or parts you are working with. The only thing I’m not stoked about is their magnifying glass you can purchase separately. It’s plastic and optically speaking it’s just ok. It’s a shame because someone really put some thought in making the quad hands great and kinda just found a magnifying glass who knows where.

I am really, really impressed with the quality of this product. Say goodbye to the days of flimsy arms and alligator clips from lower quality holders. You get what you pay for and let me tell you, you can't beat this price for what you are getting.

Ran across one of your products when I was on a movie film set in the rigging electric shop. This item is heavy which is a good thing and obviously well made. The magnetic are padded to prevent scratches and hold extremely well but provide adjustability. Nice size and perfect for my needs.

Have used it to hold and solder the connectors to the ESCs used on my RC aircraft. Hold them perfectly aligned and steady so no cold joints form. I give it a thumbs up for any hobby use.

The thing I've been looking for...!
I have been doing scale modeling and craft building projects all of my life (going on 6 decades now) and and the QuadHands Deluxe Magnetic Workbench is *THE* tool I've been looking for all that time. Sure, I've used holders and clips and "hands" before, but nothing like this. It just goes to show that a new take on an old idea can be the perfect work solution...!

Great Addition to Workbench
Had a double solder splice repair and this made it super easy. No more immobilizing the joint with a heavy tool and hoping they don’t move when the solder is flowing. Well worth it.

The Absolute Best "Extra Hands" Device Ever!
I've had the Deluxe version for a couple of weeks now and have loved it enormously! Having used just about every "extra hand" device on the market for working with electronics, I was fully prepared for another good idea that suffered from execution. Boy, was I wrong!
From the massively heavy metal base to the ingenious magnetic arms, this thing is a lifesaver for someone who spends a lot of time soldering and working with small parts assembly. It's built like a tank, and I love it so much I'm ordering a few more models just to have them in different work spaces.
My only desire now is a magnifying glass holder that would mount of one of the arms for viewing tiny things. Other than that, the QuadHands Deluxe is as close to perfect as I've seen in the last 40 years of working with electronics.

Great help for soldering multiple wire connections
This is great for working on and soldering small electrical wiring connections. Multiple wires and components can be held in place and free your hands for holding tools or soldering iron. I taped a magnifying glass on one of the hands so I can better see the small parts. I could mount a Vacuvise directly on the platform which also helped to hold bigger components.

I had the plastic Realacc holder before i replaced it with the QuadHands, BIG difference. Base will not move, arms are infenatly adjustable and strong enough to hold your quad at any angle. Excellent!

These helping hands are awesome. The weight of the base is perfect and does not move around on the table with the rubber feet. The grippers hold very well and locking screw works great. The magnets on each hand are very strong and work externally well. The flexibility of the arms hold there position very well also
