For me, this was a must have addition to the Quad Hands Deluxe.
Little more expensive than I wanted but attaches where needed and easily movable.
It works well however, the light should be focused to the center of the magnifier in my opinion.
In addition, after about two hours of use, the light was dim enough to be unusable. I believe it was shipped with cheap or older batteries installed. Having to change the batteries already is an additional expense up front.

Perfect
This magnifying glass is perfect. It works great with the magnetic base, but I also use it as a handheld magnifying glass for quick identification of ICs. I love it!

QuadHands LED 3x Magnifier

Perfect for my purpose

Arm is short, and battery power is kind of pointless. But it does magnify.
Looking at the picture of the product you can see how much of the arm is used just to tilt the lens 90 degrees for viewing whatever is on your bench. It would be great if there was a swivel, or maybe a longer arm into of a light. About the light... it would be cool if it had an automatic power-off feature (or maybe used USB power.) I killed the batteries (4x LR1130) the first day I used it. Also, while the higher magnification section of the lens seems like it would be nice, it really just gets in the way. Often I find I can barely get the arm to reach where I want it, so it would be nice of the edge of the lens was more generally usable. Anyway, I do like my other QuadHands product, and this item was a cheap add-on purchase on the company’s website. It IS helpful. It just seems like it could have been better thought out.

Quality at its best
I bought this together with the Quad mini. Was able to use it to repair a T5 circuit board. Clamps worked well and the magnifier made working with small resistors easier.

Nice magnafier/glass
It is a really nice magnifier/glass.
However, I probably would not have bought it if I had know the QuadHands Jumbo Workbench came with one already. It is not listed as part of the kit for the Jumbo, so I bought one thinking I would have to.
